I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music.Billy Joel

What's up with you and Xanga?!

Hey guys!! why arent yall on xanga much? its like people have given up on it for myspace and facebook. well, just to let you know, im still with it. and i cant do it by myself, i need your help! just make a few posts and i promise everyone will start to use it again and it will become another place to socialize over the web... come on guys, dont make me feel stupid. do it...

well, i went to tupelo today with a few friends; nathan, whitney ray, mackenzie, nicole johnson, and hannah. it wasnt all that fun. we didnt see a movie as we planned on because of the lack of effort to have everything planned and organized. so, i was basicaly dragged into a very boring night full of nothing. sure, we all had a wonderful time just talking to each other and meeting up with some other people, but i would have rather done more than go to new albany and tupelo just to walk around in a mall and not actually buy anything. at least not tonight.. anyway, come on guys, comment please! show me that you care about xanga.

Hey you guys.

Everyone ready for school? well, i still have to get some school supplie...blah. wow, this summer, omg, im going to miss summer...i wish we had summer all the time.. i miss it, and the memories that were made. im really starting to see and appreciate the world around me, and know that it has a place for me, and that Christ has a plan for me.. but anyway, life has been ok.. other than i have headaches almost everyday and am worn out just by the simplest things, mainly from being rushed to places, and many places, and just going there and back, there and back....ugh, i just want to relax, just chill.. ever since band camp has started its been kinda hectic. especially with our First Day service at FBC pontotoc, my church... i've been having soo many practices and aside that i get up every sunday morning roughly around 7am. and most of you that know me know that i am definitely not a morning person...no sir.. lol..

but on the good side, this summer has pretty much been drama-free... now, there has been cases where i could have gone through it, but, i decided not to.. and it was hard, but just avoiding it at the first sight helps to just not go through it... the main attack of it, my advice is simply saying, "well...let's change the subject." . believe me, it works.. oh, and im looking foward to an exciting year of band. drumline has hope, and potential, lots of potential..and so does the pit. even though they arent out there busting their tail to get to their little dot, they're inside perfecting their music.. yea forrest, that was for you! hehe... anyway, leave me comments.. and leave me something worth reading, if not, just dont put it...sorry to sound a lil harsh if it sounds that way, but im not being harsh.. i love you guys! and girls, of course!!

hey guys...

whew, there has been a lot been going on lately, and you guys suck on the comments! i guess i still love yall.. so anyway, last week, i went to Ada, OK with Group Workcamps with my youth group. There were 63 crews of 6 people each and about 54 houses being worked on or repaired some how. i was put in a crew with 5 strangers(so was everyone else basicly) that i didnt know from all over the country. pretty exciting huh? i loved it though, meeting new people! i swear, we were strangers sunday night, and we were family by friday. i absolutely loved it!! it was a great experience, and i grew spiritually close to Christ. so did everyone else in our group. our youth group was prolly the best, we were one of the few groups who followed the dress code there and actually had respect for the school and didnt break or abuse anything. the texas group, which was huge, broke a trophy case and something else i think, and had about 4-5 fist fights there. and yes, this is a church camp, how crazy?! they were punished, all of them, so i guess they got what they deserved, well the guys did cuz the girls in their group didnt do anything. but, non the less, i had a wonderful time. our resident's name was Mr. Westley Hatton, and i'll try to get a picture of him up here asap. to keep it short, we cleaned each wall of his house and painted it(he had siding), painted three rooms inside, did some weatherstripping, and i did the drywall with a volunteer from inside the community on the last day. we actually didnt get done with the dry wall completely, because once we finally got to where we put the drywall up on the ceiling, about halfway through drilling the screws into the drywall, we realized that we had the wrong thickness of drywall.. but its ok, because they said a group called 3rd Nations was going to come through Ada and finish anything that wasnt done by us.. it prolly lacked maybe 1 hour on the drywall, so basiclly, we finished our house besides that. i met a lot of people and built relationships that will last a lifetime! i loved it..

anyway, back to the real world in pontotoc.. i shoveled multch monday and finally fixed my front brake cable on my dirt bike from the wreck i had a few weeks ago.. and i went to Mrs. Eva Ann Dorris's funeral Sunday. yall pray for her family, for K'Ann mostly because most of yall know her... but anyway, life has been pretty good. im hoping to go see the new Pirates of the Carribean tommorrow with han and her family. well, im tred because i just got back from biking. speaking of biking, ill put a pic on here of me and my bike from today. well, see yall later! leave me a comment or two..see ya

hey guys..

what's up? well, i had a rough day yesterday. i got up at 7:30 and shoveled a 16' trailer full of mulch, then got stung by a red wasp on my cheek, then got a machedi and chopped down about 25 stalks for my grandad... oh, and when i put them all in the back of my pickup, i went up a hill and all but one fell out!!! grrrr...so, i just hauled half at a time. but anyway, i really need to get a hair cut for ada, oaklahoma. i got some jeans and some thin shirts for trip and all...so i think im set. man, its gonna be a long bus ride there.. but, we'll have a good time. well, i dont have too much to say i guess..i love you guys! so leave me a comment or two...or three, or four, or ten... yea, see ya

oh, and this is prolly what im doing if im talking on the phone with you or talking to you on the computer.. haha, yea, what nerd? lol
